Incredible (from a PC guy)
I’ve been a Windows and Linux guy for decades and actively avoided Macs for years. Apple’s old Intel machines deserved the hate. Overpriced, underpowered, ran hot, and felt like lifestyle products pretending to be computers. The new Apple Silicon M5 changes all of that. This MacBook Pro is absurdly fast. Everything feels instant. App launches, multitasking, creative software, automation, AI features. It is noticeably snappier than my Windows 11 laptop, and the overall experience is far less of a hassle. No bloatware. No OEM junk. No antivirus popups pretending to protect you from yourself. It just works. There’s also something to be said for how quiet this machine is, in every sense of the word. macOS isn’t constantly hounding you with notifications, nags, or pop-ups begging for attention. You sit down, open it, and get work done. Physically, it’s just as quiet. The fans are effectively silent, even under load. The hinges are smooth and silent. No creaks, no whine, no heat-soaked laptop pretending it’s fine. The whole thing feels calm, controlled, and powerful. The battery life is genuinely absurd coming from the PC world. This thing actually lasts all day, even with heavy use. Not “marketing all day,” not “if you dim the screen and do nothing.” Real, full workday use without hunting for a charger. Once you experience that, it’s hard to unsee how bad most Windows laptops still are in this department. This is also the ultimate creative machine. My Huion and XP-Pen drawing displays work immediately with zero drama, and they are noticeably more responsive here than on my monster Windows gaming desktop, which is frankly embarrassing for Windows. Latency is lower, pen input feels better, and the whole drawing experience is smoother and more predictable.GarageBand is legitimately excellent. It’s not a toy, it’s real software, and the fact that it’s included for free is wild. Same goes for Apple Pages and Keynote. They’re fast, clean, capable, and completely usable for real work. Getting this level of polished creative and productivity software bundled at no extra cost is something Windows just doesn’t do anymore. The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is excellent. Bright, sharp, great contrast, and genuinely comfortable for long sessions. The speakers are the best laptop speakers I’ve personally encountered. Loud, clear, and actually usable without immediately reaching for headphones. Most laptops still sound like angry tin cans. This one doesn’t.Build quality is top-tier. Solid, tight tolerances, zero flex, and the Space Black finish looks great in person. This finally feels like a premium machine without excuses or caveats.macOS still has some jank, and Apple’s software installation model is still dumb in the same old Apple way. Dragging apps around like it’s 2006 is not charming. It’s just weird. That said, the OS has been refined a lot, and as a daily driver it’s smoother and less irritating than Windows 11. Fewer interruptions. Less nonsense. More getting work done. The automation and AI capabilities on this machine are genuinely impressive compared to my Windows laptop. This is not marketing fluff. Even light use makes a difference, and heavier users will get real value out of it.One genuinely baffling decision: Apple ships this entirely jet-black laptop with a black MagSafe cable… and then cheap-outs and includes a white wall charger like it was pulled from a clearance bin. What the heck? If you’re going to obsess over aesthetics this hard, at least commit. It’s a small thing, but it’s such an unforced miss on an otherwise beautifully designed machine.I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m officially a Mac guy now. Apple Silicon finally earned it. This is an outstanding daily driver and easily the best laptop I’ve owned.

Awesome purchase
Value for money, amazing display, performance is fast and smooth, the speakers are impeccable, I love the look of the black border around the keyboard on the silver, has a nice sturdy feel and weight to it for all you get packed into a 14”. It is everything I’ll ever need!

The 2025 MacBook is awesome! 👍
I haven’t bought a MacBook (or any other laptop) since 2013.I’m an Instructional Designer/ Corporate Trainer and needed a serious laptop to do some serious computing.I bought the MacBook Pro 2025 with 24GB RAM and 1 TB storage in Space Black.I couldn’t be more pleased. I was pleasantly surprised at the build and the weight. This is a substantial laptop but not too heavy and quite portable. And fast and responsive! Set up was seamless and faster than I remember from my last MacBook. The keyboard was smooth and responsive. Screen resolution is phenomenal and the speakers are excellent.I plan to use this MacBook for many years to come.I highly recommend the 2025 MacBook Pro.

Expensive, but Absolutely Worth It
The Apple 2025 MacBook Pro with the M5 chip is incredible. Yes, it’s a big investment—but I’m totally in love with it. The size is perfect, the performance is fast and smooth, and the screen is absolutely stunning. Looking at dive photos I took, the clarity and detail are noticeably better than on my old computer. Everything just looks sharper and more vibrant. No complaints at all… unless you count the price.

Game-Changer for Power Users and Creatives
The 2025 MacBook Pro with the M5 chip is an absolute beast! The 10‑core CPU and GPU offer lightning-fast performance whether I’m editing videos, handling large media projects, or multitasking. The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display is stunning, making everything look vibrant and crisp. Having 24GB of unified memory and a spacious 1TB SSD means I never have to worry about running out of room or lag. The Space Black finish looks sleek and modern. Apple Intelligence features are genuinely helpful for workflow automation and productivity. Hands-down the best laptop I’ve ever owned! Highly recommend for anyone who needs top-tier speed, power, and reliability.

It’s ok but but maybe not super great
So it’s a Macbook Pro. If you’ve ever owned one all the standard stuff applies. Prior to this laptop I had a 2019 Macbook air that was honestly working just fine but unfortunately I dropped it and broke the screen so it was time to upgrade and there was a black friday deal on Amazon so I went for it. I do a little more video editing and more process intensive tasks these days but nothing super hardcore but I decided to go with more power anyhow. So far, it’s just fine, but not amazing. It’s heavier for sure, but that’s the tradeoff for more power and battery life. Unfortunately, I can’t say I’m really impressed with the battery life. I honestly haven’t noticed a big difference from my nearly 6 year old macbook air. All the talk was about the super impressive battery life no matter what software you were running, and I just haven’t found that to be the case. When using any sort of graphic/processor intensive software it drains quite quickly and that’s with the screen brightness at 60% or less. It’s just not that impressive. The keyboard is taking quite a bit to get used to as well. I’m finding that you really have to apply a good deal more force on the keys than I did with the macbook air and even after having this thing for a couple months now, I’m still not used to it.I hope I haven’t wasted my money by going with this laptop over the less expensive air. I really got it for battery life, a little more power and the HDMI port which I will say is actually clutch. I also wanted the ability to use two external monitors at the same time which it handles just fine.I do like the bigger screen and the build quality is what you would expect from apple. I’m still not a fan of the sharp/angled edges. It would be more comfortable to rest your hands and wrists on when typing if the edges were more rounded. The other thing I really miss from my MacBook air is the ability to charge from USB-C. I hate having another proprietary charger to carry around. And honestly the MagSafe isn’t great. It doesn’t detach all that easily which is supposed to be the key feature incase you snag the cable.I just hope I get at least 5-6 years out of this computer.

Sleek, powerful, and a photographers dream. 11/10
Okay so I actually had to return this item with amazon because they messed up delivery and my friend wouldn’t get it in time because I am studying overseas and had to get it from Best Buy instead. However, I just have to leave a review.I LOVE this MacBook. I am a Mac user through and through, I have had a 2020 Pro, 2021 Air, and 2023 Air before. This one is far superior. I upgraded from my 2023 Air because my cat likes to chew on my screen and I didn’t want to wait to fix the screen so I am going to sell the other once fixed. Additionally, I am a hobby photographer and waiting 10 seconds for each task on my air to complete in Lightroom and photoshop was miserable.I did a lot of research before getting this laptop and was trying to decide between a M3 pro, M4 pro and M5 chip. Ultimately I decided on this because the deal was unbeatable for Black Friday and the product reviews only say it is a little powerhouse despite the lower CPU/GPU in comparison with the pro chips.I can’t compare to those chips, but the difference between the 2023 Air and the M5 is night and day in regards to speed of complex processes. It is also very nice for the SD card slot to be in the computer and not needing an adapter. For any PHOTOGRAPHER this is an amazing laptop that will be a lovely upgrade. It runs Lightroom and photoshop seamlessly. It takes no loading time to upload 100 photos onto light room and instantly saves them. Well worth the money.I haven’t had any problems with it overheating, even though I am running a lot of tasks. The screen size is the perfect size IMO, the 13 is too small and my 15 air was too big. Brightness is great. It looks amazing in the space black color and is so sleek. Heavier than my 15 in air but that is to be expected. The battery life is good for how powerful it is.Overall super happy with this laptop. Would buy again every time.
